Samuel "Sam" Sumner
age 41, after a brief illness on Tues., July 15, 2014. Dear son of Joy and Sam Sumner; devoted father of Evan Sumner; beloved fiancée of Mona Desmond; loving brother of Kelly (Joe) Gollar; dearest nephew, cousin, colleague and friend to many.
Sam graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia and he worked at Morgan Stanley for more than 15 years.
The family wishes to thank his colleagues, friends and family for their support over the past month.
Services: A memorial visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm, Friday, July 18 Great Hall of Ambruster Chapel, 6633 Clayton Rd. (Clayton). A closing prayer will be at 7 p.m. lnurnment will be held in Indiana at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Anna's Heart Fund, c/o First Harrison Bank, 220 Federal Dr., Corydon, Indiana, 47112.
