Rosemary Virginia Calcaterra, (nee Farris), on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection. Beloved wife for 53 years of (the late) John J. Calcaterra; beloved daughter of (the late) Charles and (the late) Margaret Farris; loving mother of Janice (Philip) Shayne, Kay Calcaterra (Carl Hoelting) and Becky (Steve) Braddock; devoted Grammy to Alison (Adam) Tsacoumangos, Andrew (Rachel) Shayne, Aaron (Sara Peterson) Shayne, Rebecca (Matt) Morris, Brian (Moira) Hoelting, Andrea Hoelting, John, Jacob and (the late) Joseph Braddock; cherished GiGi to Maxine and (the late) Jesse Shayne; Johnny and Harry Tsacoumangos and Claire Morris; loving sister and best friend to (the late) Jean Mercurio; loving sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and friend to many! Rosie's greatest blessings were her family, her fun-loving spirit and her many friendships, especially her poker pals!!!! Special thanks to Nazareth Living Center and St. Anthony's Hospice for their loving care and concern through Rosemary's difficult journey.
Services: the family will receive friends in the Great Hall of Ambruster Chapel Monday, August 31st, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm 6633 Clayton Road (Clayton). The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church 6401 Wade St. Louis, MO 63139. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
