Olga Vazopolos
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015, with her loving family by her side. Olga was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on May 1, 1933. Olga was the beloved Mother of Betsy Murphy (Ben), Paul Vazopolos (Carmela), Andrea Lockwood (Dale), and the late Christine Vazopolos. Olga was the beloved Grandmother to Lauren Rowe (Dan), Spencer Murphy, Rachel Moran, Sarah Moran, and Matthew Lockwood. She was also the beloved Great Grandmother to Oliver and Max Rowe. Olga is also survived by her sisters Sandra Xintaras (George), and Jenny Mustakos (Jim).
Olga will be missed by her family and friends and will be most remembered by her great gift of welcoming people to her dinner table. She always looked for a reason to celebrate. Olga was a devout member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, the Greek Orthodox Philoptochos, and the St. Nicholas Choir. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church or the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Philoptochos Society 4967 Forest Park Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63108.
Services: will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, October 26, 2015. The Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:30am with the Funeral service to immediately follow. Interment Bellerive Gardens Cemetery (Creve Coeur).
