Monday, October 17, 2016, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Beloved husband of Maryjo Thornburgh (nee Wille). He was the son of the late Thelma Schulz and George Waydle Thornburgh. Brother of the late Thomas W. Thornburgh and sister-in-law Violette. Brother of Laura Frances Perkinson. Brother-in-law of Jacqueline and the late William Phillips, the late Gordon Wille (surviving Kay), Jane and Dan Hackett, the late Barbara and Kenneth Garrett, Judith Jung, Daniel Wille and Patricia and Carl Oliver. Dear uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, friend and cousin. Services: Visitation Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Ambruster Chapel, 6633 Clayton Rd. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, October 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 3854 Flad Ave. (Shaw neighborhood) with interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul/St. Margaret of Scotland Conference, 2201 S. 39th St., St. Louis, MO 63110.
