Cynthia Anne Ruggeri passed away in Katy, Texas, on September 28, 2015. She was born in Fayette, Missouri, and graduated from Central Methodist College with a degree in Political Science. She went on to finish a Master's in Library Sciences from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Cindy worked in both the St. Louis Public Library and Fort-Bend County Public Library systems for over 45 years in total. She ended her career as the Branch Manager at the Sugar Land branch.
She is survived by her husband, John; her three children, Joseph (Holly), Kathryn (Wesley), and Matthew; two grandsons, Tommy and Dominic; her three brothers, Eugene Jr., James, and Matthew; her sister, Betsy; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Jacobs Sr., and her mother, Kathryn.
