Colleen Marie Baird
( nee Eddington) was born on February 18th, 1954 in St. Louis, MO. She passed peacefully on Sunday July 20th, 2014 at age 60. Colleen is preceded in death by her father Aurelius J. Eddington and survived by her daughters Megan Marie Holm (Harashe) and Rachel Ann Marie Murphy (Baird); her mother Dolores Eddington (Walsh); her sisters Maureen Fantl (Eddington) and Eileen Eddington; her brother Michael Eddington; nieces and nephew; and her greatest joys, her grandchildren Jace John Holm and Juniper Ann Marie Murphy. Beloved mother to many and friend to all will be remembered on Saturday July 26th at Ambruster Chapel at 6633 Clayton Road (Clayton) from 10am until 2pm. In lieu of flowers, her daughters request a memorial contribution to be made in Colleen's name to the Society of Women Engineers 203 N La Salle Street, Suite 1675 Chicago, IL 60601 or to the Hospice of Southern Illinois ( Administrative Offices 305 S Illinois St. Belleville, IL 62220), Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, IL.
