Love Emblem

Andrew J. Metzger, Age 29, suddenly on Friday, June 17, 2016. Beloved son of Mary Ellen Metzger and Paul Metzger; beloved grandson of Betty Metzger and the late Jim; William Souders and the late Ruth; dear brother of Jennifer, Michael (Kimberly) and the late Stephen Metzger. Andrew cared deeply for the people in his life and will be dearly missed.
Andrew graduated from Vianney High School, received his BA in Psychology from Saint Louis University (Summa Cum Laude) and was studying for his PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Saint Louis University, 2011-2016. Andrew also was a graduate assistant at the Center for Workforce and Organizational Development, and a co-owner of Mitch STL - A Modern Man's Salon. He had experience in a variety of roles and industries, such as higher education, healthcare, non-profit, research, and hospitality. Causes Andrew cared about: Animal Welfare, Economic Empowerment, the Environment, Health, Human Rights, Science and Technology.

Services: A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Luke the Evangelist Church (7230 Dale, 63117). Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Ambruster Chapel (6633 Clayton Road, 63117), 4-8 P.M.
