Tribute & Message From The Family

Robert B. "Bobo" Bardone, born in St. Louis, Mo., on June 21, 1947, passed away peacefully Aug. 8, 2015, his wife Peggy and son Patrick by his side in Franklin, Tenn., of complications associated with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lillian Bardone.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Peggy Bardone and four children: Patrick (Ann) Bardone; Cadie (Tim) Connors; Colleen Bardone; and Brian (Dawn) Bardone. He was the proud Bobo of nine grandchildren: Camille, Isa, Tristan, Aidan, Colin, Dylan, Kaden, Koen and Korbin. He was a cherished brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.
Bob was a successful entrepreneur of several businesses from the 1970's until his death. Bob lived a wonderful life with his wife, Peggy, by his side. Together they raised four children, and he was their hero. In life, and then in death, Bob lived with dignity and grace, always saying "I'm fine." At the end of his life, Bob became a voice for ALS and fought this disease bravely and always with a smile on his face. His motto was "I will never give up."
Services will be held at Ambruster Chapel 6633 Clayton Road St. Louis, MO 63117, on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015. Visitation will be held from 9 am to noon, and a tribute to Bobo will begin at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the ALS Association of St. Louis (

Bobo, the man with the "Amazing Smile" and personality. You always lit up a room with your presence and humor. The family has lost a great brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and the son-in-law that pawpaw referred to as "BobBardone" (all one word). Thank you for loving and caring for our sister as your best friend. Also for loving and caring for our nieces, nephews, their spouses and your incredible grandchildren. You were not only Bobo to them but to all of our family.

You lived this last year with such style, grace, dignity and humor, which made it so comfortable for those of us who loved you so, to share this horrid disease in your presence. We will all miss you so,but now you can sit down at the M.P.'s in the sky with your mom, dad, memaw and pawpaw, Kris and Ron and drink a cold one while smiling down on us with those beautiful pearly whites !!!! we all loved you so !!!

Your loving sister-in-law ....Colleen ❤

All the people who met him in Aix Les Bains, join us to present our condolences to all the Bardone family.
Bob knew how to face this terrible disease with a courage which forces the respect. We will keep the souvenir of a very smart man.

Cadie and Colleen and Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I did not know your dad in person but knowing the wonderful daughters he raised is a testament to the man he was. As an outsider looking in I can see he lived his life with grace and integrity and accomplished great things, his family being the greatest of his accomplishments. He was and continues to be an inspiration to all of us.
Thinking of you all and sending all my love.
