Marguerite "Marty" Joan Walsh (nee Tierney), age 92, peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Daughter of Dr. John Leo Tierney and Margaret (Curran) Tierney of St. Louis; loving wife of Robert F. Walsh; dear mother of Timothy T. (Jane), Marguerite Joan (Jim) Keiper, Robert F.. Jr. (Rita), the late J. Kevin and Peggy Walsh-Chopin (Dan), Mark D. (Lynn), Carol (Scott) Simpson, Brian T. (Connie), Mary W. (Danny) Randant, Ellen M. (Patrick) Murphy, Ann C. (Todd) Jacobs, John L. (Libby). Michael T. (Liz); grandmother of 33 and great-grandmother of 25; sister in law of James J. (Kay) Walsh; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, god-mother, cousin, and friend to many. Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 30 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17 Joy Ave., Webster Groves, MO 63119. A private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities of St. Louis, St.Vincent de Paul Society-Holy Redeemer Chapter or the charity of your choice.

To the entire Walsh family,
Tana and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Marty. From my many years at Walsh & Associates I remember her as a remarkable loving, fun, friendly and strong woman who brightened up the room when she walked in. Mr. and Mrs. Walsh set the bar for me as to what a marriage could and should be...as well as how to raise 12 remarkable children!
We wish we could attend Tuesday's services but are currently away from St. Louis. But our prayers are with all of you as you celebrate a wonderful life of an amazing lady.
