Mr. Carl Fredrick Rogge Obituary

Carl Fredrick Rogge, born Oct. 11, 1910, on Lucky Street, in St. Louis and passed away Aug 4, 2015, at the age of 104. As a life long Cardinals' fan, he was proud that he attended their first World Series appearance in 1926. He married Dorothy Duffner in 1938. Seventy years of marriage ended with her death, in 2008. Carl retired in 1974, from American Investment Corp. When he wasn't ice skating, at Queeny Park, he enjoyed traveling, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carl was delivering Meals on Wheels, for 23 years. He stopped at age 101. This 104 year old enjoyed life, friends, and his beloved Nancy, the Chihuahua rescue, that he adopted. He was Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Carl is survived by Carol Lee (Gregory) Ball, Irvine, CA and Susan Marie (Allan) Magee, dearest grandfather of Karen, Kelley, Melissa, and Cordell, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, August 15 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 15668 Clayton Rd., Ballwin. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the USO of St. Louis, St. Patrick's Center, 800 N. Tucker, or Diana's Grove Dog Rescue.
